Marsh Miller, a brakeman on the C R T P Branch freight, died at his Rock Island home yesterday. He sustained internal injuries three weeks ago in Oskaloosa when squeezed between a wide freight car and the freight house. He had been transferred from Sam Kerry's baggage car.

He travels with a summer medicine show and is currently on furlough, claiming plans to head to Oskaloosa. S. E. Parker and wife travel to Kalona this evening for an over Sunday visit to their old home.

This morning the firearm was missing after an apparent intruder visited the outer kitchen and took the gun for personal use. The B and N W theater excursion plans to depart this evening for Tim Murphy in Old London Chance.
