Sunset Route passengers head to Los Angeles with twelve aboard

Mrs Coxe and Miss Haskins report a pleasant journey toward the coast aboard the Sunset Route. The car held twelve passengers as attendants remained courteous. They expect to reach Los Angeles Saturday at 8 20 p m. In town Mr and Mrs L D Robinson hosted store employees with games and refreshments.

Verdict in Munro vs Burham sets price at four ten per hundred

Jury deliberated about seven hours returning a sealed verdict awarding Munro $4.10 per hundred for cattle after a dispute over a prior sale and shipping profits. Foreman John Bergquist led the panel in a hard fought case with M W Bailey overseeing Munro’s interests. The issue centered on Munro offering cattle at $4.10, and Burham delaying shipment to gain extra ten cents per hundred, with costs nearing two hundred dollars. The page also notes Booker T. Funeral Obsequies for Geo Meister Held at Home

Funeral services for Geo Meister were held at 10 o clock this morning from the residence of Mr and Mrs G Hise on East Madisenst with Rev Thorne of the ME church officiating. Pallbearers named were W Dougherty Frank Steck Al Rodman St Clair Lewis D Ballard and Dr Hall. Hall's Catarrh Cure advertisement follows detailing internal remedies and testimonials with Toledo Ohio as origin.

Klondike venture leads first local journeyer to Alaska

Leonard L. Stephens, a 25-year-old county resident, bought a ticket to Juneau Alaska and left from this city last night via the Chicago Rock Island and Pacific Railway. He is tall, heavy set and physically capable for the Klondike trek, and his departure draws local interest as the first resident to venture to the gold fields this season.
