Mrs Coxe and Miss Haskins report a pleasant journey toward the coast aboard the Sunset Route. The car held twelve passengers as attendants remained courteous. They expect to reach Los Angeles Saturday at 8 20 p m. In town Mr and Mrs L D Robinson hosted store employees with games and refreshments.
Jury deliberated about seven hours returning a sealed verdict awarding Munro $4.10 per hundred for cattle after a dispute over a prior sale and shipping profits. Foreman John Bergquist led the panel in a hard fought case with M W Bailey overseeing Munro’s interests.
