Boy Shot in Hip During Hunting Accident

Funeral Held For Boy Killed While Coasting

Columbus Junction Farmer Dies After Long Illness
Jerry Evans, a farmer four miles southwest of Columbus Junction, died at his home about 6:30 this morning after a long illness. Burial will be in Cambrain cemetery. He was born in Wales, a World War veteran, and married to Elsie Jones. Survived by their three sons Thomas Delmore LeRoy and a daughter Margaret, all at home, plus relatives in Wales. Funeral arrangements handled by J. C. Richie funeral home.
