A wedding ceremony took place at the Baptist parsonage located south of the city. The couple exchanged vows in a simple service attended by family and friends.

Deaths of George Reister and Mrs. Fleming Rites

George H. Reister died January 16 at 120 A.M. He was born November 19 1810 in Chillicothe Ohio and moved to Burlington Iowa in 1840. He married Francis A. Marsden in 1844 and left a wife and five children. Funeral at his daughter Mrs. J. G. Hise home on East Madison Street Friday at 10 a.m. Rev. Thorn will conduct. burial beside J. Marsden in the old cemetery.

Death of Mrs Fleming Shocks Living Lake Community

Funeral plans set after Flora Glenn Fleming dies at about 33 in Living Lake NE of the city leaving a three day old daughter and mourning husband. She was a respected former stenographer for local firms and a native of the county with surviving siblings across several states. Funeral is Friday at 2 pm with Elm Grove cemetery interment. notice also includes local ads.
