Elvira Mary Kerr born March 8 1862 in Mercer county daughter of Jonathan and Jane Kerr moved with family to a farm north west of Washington later to own and was a dressmaker later a nursing aide. She leaves a sister Mrs Margaret Cook of Des Moines and several nieces and nephews. two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
