Snowstorm Closes Roads Across Iowa After Fierce Storm

Washington School Board Weighs Athletics Vocation Room Additions
Washington school board members received a show of local support for athletics while discussing possible additions to the high school vocational area. They approved joint participation in an elementary secondary education act program for Prairie Flower special education and may seek funds for a summer program. Marjorie Elgin was hired as junior high English teacher. The board received word no Neighborhood Youth Corps funds are available and reviewed group health insurance costs.
