Death of George Pringle Under Investigation in Clinton

Mrs. Soderstrom Dies in California
Mrs. Fannie Soderstrom, former Washington resident and wife of Andrew Soderstrom, died December 19 at her Riverside home in California. She was known for leading the P E O Chapter here and for her activity in Presbyterian church circles. The Soderstroms once ran a dry goods and later a variety store in Washington before moving to Sac City where Mr. Soderstrom died.

Funeral for William Bowersox in Clay
Funeral services for William Bowersox 23 will be held tomorrow at 11 AM at his parents home and a military service at Bethel church near Sigourney with burial there. He volunteered March 13 1941 and was among first from the area to die in service in Florida. Born May 11 1918 in Hayesville he lived in Ru bio and Jefferson county before moving to Clay the last three years. Surviving are his parents and two brothers.
