At Peabody pit No 7 in Taylorville Illinois clashes between 150 union miners and 160 members of the Progressive Miners of America left two dead and twelve wounded. Shotgun Bandits Take Mail Sacks in Twin Robberies
Six gunmen robbed a Milwaukee station clerk of four registered mail sacks worth at least 170000 in bonds currency and securities.
