In the Rock Island waiting room this morning a man unknown to others suffered a sudden heart trouble. The stricken man, later identified as Mr Woolm of Richland, lasted about fifteen minutes before recovering enough to board the train. He remained unable to speak but showed his tickets to station staff before departure. He is prone to such spells and will likely recover after rest at home.
A new floor is laid in the Armory to first class shape at Co D headquarters. The Chicago Rock Island & Pacific Kiy Co reports December gross earnings at 1,237,135, down 40.70 percent from prior period.
