Plane crashes into tree injuring five Minnesota men
Five Minneapolis and St Paul men en route to St Louis for an aviation exposition were injured when their monoplane struck a tree two miles southwest of St Charles Missouri. Names were withheld for aviation safety. Pilot said fuel was low and beacon light guided them to a temporary field. One man suffered internal injuries and broken ribs.

Leonard Taylor Dies in California at 30
Leonard Taylor known as Jack Taylor died last night in a hospital near Oakland California at age 30 after a four year tuberculosis battle. He was born April 23 1900 in Grace Hill area and lived much of his life in Washington before moving to California five years ago. He is survived by his parents wife Geraldine Swanson, brother Harry A. Taylor of Oakland and sister Mrs Paul Harvey Grace Hill. He was connected with the Christian Science church in Oakland.

Brookhart Farm Tariff Proposal Is Defeated In Senate
Senate Democrats halted the Brookhart plan to raise farm food tariffs to four cents a pound after it was boosted from one to three cents.
