David W. Temple Dies Suddenly at 80
David W. Temple, 80, of 12 miles west of Washington, died suddenly on Sunday February 18, 1962 from a heart attack. Funeral services were set for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Elgin. burial in Elm Grove Cemetery. He was born January 14, 1882 in Jefferson County, married Wiebrie Brewer in 1922, who died in 1928. He leaves one son Sikke D. Temple of Keota, 11 grandchildren, one brother Ernie C. Temple of Washington, and one sister Emma M. Wittman of Conesville. A half-brother and half-sister preceded him in death.
