Fatal fog collision kills three in Iowa
Three people die and two are injured in a head on crash on U S 18 near Ames in dense zero visibility fog. Victims include Frank A Randjennett 63 his wife Agnes 69 and Gary Lee Bauer 19 all killed instantly. Injured were John Ludwig 72 and Leo Ludwig 62 both from Corwith treated for facial and other injuries.

Minor accident on West Washington street
A two car collision occurred Sunday on West Washington as Bertha Sylvia Teets of rural route 1 Washington failed to stop on slick streets and hit the rear of Harold Dean Batterson of 944 Smith Washington who was stopped at a stop sign. Damages were 10 dollars to the Teets car and 120 dollars to Batterson's. No injuries or charges were reported.
