Anthracite Strike Settled After Leaders Reach Agreement

Final agreement ends the anthracite strike with a conference adopting a tentative deal to be sent to the tri-district convention for approval. Mine workers will resume within ten days under the current contract with modifications, lasting until August 31, 1923. Yearly wage-scale modification proposals allowed after January 1, 1927.
