Burial will be in the Woassonville cemetery. He was born January 29 190? in Washington to Amos and Emeline Whetstine. He married Bessie Mae James in August 1896 in Washington. Keota Man Escapes Injury in Tire Blowout Crash
Earl Kenneth Martin, 34, of route one Keota escaped injury Saturday afternoon when a tire blew out on his car causing it to roll over and land in a ditch northwest of Washington. The crash one mile north and three quarters miles west of the city in front of the Frank Kleese farm caused $400 damage to the car and tore down a fence. The sheriff's office investigated.
