Wellman pair given deferred sentences for fur theft
Kirby Miller and Kim Wasson, both 18 from Wellman, received 24 month deferred sentences and probation after pleading guilty to stealing furs from a rural trapper. Their sentencing will be reviewed in two years. A rear mounted 6 foot snow blade was stolen from a Mid-Prairie School District tractor in front of the Wellman high school, with only the blade taken and no break in to the building. The sheriff’s office investigated.
