New launch attempt planned for Lunar Orbiter 3 to moon
NASA prepared Lunar Orbiter 3 for another launch tonight after a power hiccup halted Friday's attempt. The 850 pound satellite will begin an 8 p.m. EST voyage to the moon, aiming to image landing sites and provide oblique views of Apollo exploration regions. Orbiter 3 plans a close 28 mile swoop near the lunar surface on its final 3 hour orbit, with 12 prime photographic sites across the moon's midsection including Sea of Tranquility and Ocean of Storms.

Driver Dies After Heart Attack Causes Runaway Car
In Holyoke Massachusetts an 80 year old widow, Marie Johannis, suffered a heart attack at the wheel causing a car to speed toward a group of first grade students leaving Joseph Metcalf Elementary School. The car struck the line of children, killing two instantly and injuring several others before the driver died at Holyoke Hospital.

Four Americans freed by East Germany in 1965
Four UPI sources report that Mary Hellen Battle of Tennessee Moses Herrin of Ohio Frederick Matthews of Pennsylvania and William Lovett of California were released from East German prisons and crossed into West Berlin. They described being brainwashed but unharmed and spoke German from jail life. They said release was not part of a deal and noted heavy German use during questioning.

Rev Fetterson named new pastor at Immanuel Lutheran
