Five persons killed in weekend traffic accidents on Towa highways. Lois Hansel 50 Marion and Thomas Tomkins 31 Burlington were killed when their cars collided head on near Oakdale on US 218. Two passengers in the Hansel car and one in the Tomkins vehicle were hospitalized. George Norton 23 rural Maxwell died from injuries after being thrown from his vehicle on a gravel road in Story County. Bill Dyer 21 Des Moines and three teenaged boys were in a stolen car that crashed on Des Moines southeast side. all teens hospitalized. Donald M Seehusen 40 Pomero y died when his car careened on Town 7 near Fonda and flipped repeatedly.
