Nebraska man fourth victim in Iowa crash
Darnell Kratke 27 of Pender Nebraska died in Red Oak hospital after a head on collision seven miles west of Red Oak yesterday morning. The crash killed three other Pender men and left Kratke unconscious until his death today.

Clarence Brinning Dies Suddenly Today
Clarence Brinning 61 of 504 South Third avenue died at 10 AM after a heart attack in his car on North Iowa avenue. He had a prior light attack a week earlier. Funeral arrangements are with Jones funeral home. He was born February 11 1889 in Dutch Creek township and married Laura B Nanke in 1915. He lived on farms in Prairie Flower and West Chester before moving to Washington 30 years ago and worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the Moose and IOOF lodges. Survivors include his wife a step daughter Madelyn Flynn and two sisters Mrs Art Duensing and Mrs Mildred Doran.
