Iowa Senator Rourke B. Hickenlooper announced he will retire in 1968 after 23 years in the U S Senate. Intruder footprints found after 9 year old girl murdered
The blood splattered body of nine year old Helen Miller was found face down in a 30 foot deep ravine in Charleston West Virginia. Police said she was sexually molested and killed. Her mother Sylvia Miller reported the disappearance. A sister of the victim was later taken to the scene in shock.
