Frank Crawford of Greeley Colorado arrived with the body of his sister Mrs Clara Pearson formerly of this county who was killed in an automobile accident last week near Santa Fe New Mexico. Two of her nieces Edna and Alice Crawford of Greeley were also killed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at two o clock in the Methodist church at Ainsworth. Burial will be in Ainsworth cemetery.

Bicycle crash injures Fred Nicola near work
Fred Nicola was struck by a car without lights while riding a bicycle about six o'clock yesterday evening. He suffered facial scratches and serious bruising and could not work today. The bicycle was badly damaged as the car ran over it.

One Student Killed in Indiana Auto Crash
One Taylor University student from Waterloo Iowa died and four others were injured when the car left the road near La Porte Indiana while returning from Christmas vacation. Laverne Bachtel 19 died at a hospital. Edward Anderson 22 was near death. Morris Jones Hazel Chamberlain and Kenneth Hoover were injured. Gertrude Jackson was unhurt. The vehicle struck a culvert and crashed into a wire fence.
