Union Music Service Sunday Sacred Concert by Washington Orchestra
The Washington Little Symphony Orchestra directed by Milburn A McKay will give a sacred concert at the Methodist church Sunday night at 7 30. The fifty piece ensemble performs for holiday students and the public with free admission and a free will offering for charity. Organizers plan minister participation and a full rehearsal at the Y M C A Thursday afternoon.

Girl Recovers After Hair Caught in Lathe Incident

Death of C M Corpman Sudden at Brighton Farm
Charles M Corpman 64 died of a heart attack in the hayloft on his Brighton township farm near Washington. He had suffered a prior illness after a stroke but had largely recovered. Born January 17 1869 in Dutch Creek township, he moved to the Brighton farm 87 years ago. Survived by widow Minnie Ann Nelson, children Alma Seethout and Carl Corpman, two sisters, and two grandchildren. Funeral set for Thursday at 2 pm at L A Jones Funeral Home with Rev Carl W Klein. burial in Elm Grove cemetery. Corpman belonged to the Moravian church Grace Hill and Modern Woodmen lodge Brighton.
