Joseph J. Roth aged 69 of Wayland died at Memorial hospital Mt. Pleasant after a heart illness. Funeral services are set for Sunday with a Roth home service at 1 50 and church rites at Sugar Creek at two. He was born April 26 1878 in St Ludwig Germany and came to the United States at age seven. Faye Taylor 80 Dies After Stroke and Service Career
Faye Taylor of Washington died at 80 after a stroke in October 1946. She had lived in Allerton and Washington, worked with the United Presbyterian church on the West Coast, taught Bible schools and Sunday schools, and cared for her parents before pursuing mission work in Chicago. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. J Daivid McLaughlin of Washington.
