January dates for Washington County food stamp sales are set for the 5th 6th and 20th. The city residents shop January 5 the county outside city limits January 6 and all county residents January 20 at the Department of Social Services office 212 North Iowa from 9 30 to 11 30 a m.
Washington residents are invited to an open house at the Community Center and McCleery Theatre on Monday December 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. Tours of the building will be offered. Music by Dorothy Helscher and Kay Stewart. Art by Anita Swartzendruber and Curt Pefferman. Light refreshments provided.
