Randy Swift discovered his new baby brother Bret Swift after opening packages early. Bret, born December 1 at Washington County Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. William Swift of Harrison, arrived home in a red Christmas stocking provided by an aunt. The stocking was placed under the tree where the older brother found him, captured by a Journal photographer.
