Three Iowans Die in Weekend Highway Crashes
Three Iowans died in separate auto accidents Friday night. Jerome L. Strong, 18, Rolfe, Iowa State College student, died when his car skidded on frost, hit a bridge, and overturned near Humboldt. Mrs. John Callahan, 31, Dubuque, was killed in a two car crash south of Hazel Green Wisconsin involving seven Benton Wisconsin teens. Des Moines resident Mrs Don R Coffman 20, an expectant mother, died after being struck by a laundry truck in downtown Des Moines. Truck driver Earl D Reynolds, 57, charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian.
