Funeral services for Sheridan Augustine will be held Thursday at two o'clock at the L. A. Jones funeral home with Rev. Carl W. Klein officiating. Burial follows at White Oak cemetery in Dutch Creek township. He died this morning in the state hospital at Mt. Pleasant after a 34 year stay. Born April 16, 1866 in Dutch Creek township, he was a son of Godfrey and Anna Augustine and lived in Dutch Creek until 1906 when health failed. He is survived by a brother George Augustine and a sister Mrs. G. W. Statler, both in this county. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death: Mrs. Emma Luers, Mrs. Mary Ralston, John and Dave Augustine.
