John Kennedy Dies After Long Illness at 77
John Kennedy 77 died Sunday at his home four miles southeast of Washington after years of poor health. He was a longtime director and treasurer of the Washington county Farmers Mutual Insurance, a Presbyterian and Sons of Veterans member. Funeral Wednesday at 2 PM at the Presbyterian church with burial in Elm Grove Cemetery. He was born in New York March 18 1853 and survived by Alice Catherine Titus and four sons James Harland John Lauder Charles Kennedy of Washington Lloyd Kennedy of Cherry Valley Ill. Two daughters and two sons died earlier.
