Duke Woods of Davenport took his mother Mrs. Marie Woods to Davenport to spend the holidays in Washington and visit the Grooms family in Moline. Golden Age Club members met to work on quilt blocks and finished a lap robe for a local rest home resident. They signed a birthday card for Emma Barnett who now lives in Burlington. Cookies, candy and a noon lunch followed in the McCleery room. Next meeting is Jan 8. World War I Barracks Auxiliary held a potluck at the Legion Hall with wreaths and trees sent to the Veterans Hospital.
