Car Registrations Rise in Washington County for 1941
Washington county reports 1,359 automobiles registered for the coming year up from 1,002 on the same date last year. Truck registrations total 101, 51 more than last year. Many owners turned in old plates for 1941, depositing them in a courthouse box to be saved for government use as old metal. The box filled yesterday and a new box began accumulating today with hundreds of plates gathered again.
