Contested Washington County Board Vote Count Underway
A special election contest court in the district courthouse began counting ballots from the November general election to decide whether Floyd Foster or R. E. Brown will fill a three year term on the Washington County Board of Supervisors. Around half of 780 third ward ballots were counted by noon with a dozen doubtful ballots set aside for later decision.
