Ainsworth Locals Recall Holiday Gatherings and College Choir
A sophomore from Iowa State Teachers College Cedar Wallis joined the college chorus singing Messiah on Sunday afternoon. Attendees included parents C M Spessard and Mitt Arthur, and Majel Arthur also attending ISTC. A birthday dinner for four year old Tommy Stone with grandparents and siblings followed, with Mrs Darby cooking and a festive menu. Local visits included Mrs Keith Williams hosting at the Everette Meeks home, and Sunday dinners for Mrs Williams and Mrs Wil liames with Clarence Pulse Sr visiting family in Ainsworth and Farr Field. The Meeks hosted a Sunday dinner for Mrs Williams. A decorated Christmas tree and nativity display adorned the buffet. The Spessards planned a program featuring Silent Night, a Christmas story, Longfellow verse, and readings with a quiz, followed by gifts after Jingle Bells.

Organist John Yousling to perform at chamber dinner
John Yousling will present an organ program featuring his Connsonata organ at the United Presbyterian Church.
