Mrs Williams 79 Dies at Winfield
Mrs Alice May Williams 79 of Winfield died Monday at Henry County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are set for Thursday at 1 30 pm at Salem Presbyterian Church with burial in Cambrian Cemetery. The Barton McKasson Funeral Home is in charge. Williams born June 2 1842 near Lake Crystal Minnesota married Morgan Williams Jan 6 1904 at Columbus Junction. Survivors include two daughters, two brothers, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, one sister and one brother.

Francis Messenger Dies in Riverside community
Francis Messenger died suddenly Monday night at his Coal City home. He was brother to Mrs Charles Vondrasek of Washington and several Riverside residents. Funeral services were held Friday at 9 am in St Marys Catholic Church Riverside with Rev Walter Boeckman in charge. Rosary was recited at Serden and Adams Funeral Home Riverside and burial at Mt Olivet Cemetery.

Former Riverside Man Dies In Missouri
A. H. Pogge known as Cookie, 68, longtime Riverside resident and manager of the Iowa Illinois Telephone Company, died Monday at a Springfield hospital after a lingering illness. Funeral services are set for Thursday at St Mary’s Church Riverside with burial at Mt Olivet. He was born January 2, 1893, in West Point and married Neva Foss in 1917. Survivors include two daughters, two sons, and many grandchildren.
