Local Moose Members Initiated in Legion at Ft Madison

Weather Blamed In Iowa Road Deaths

Junction Man Injured In Accident At County Yard
A Columbus Junction man, Noah Wilson about 63, was pinned between a truck and a building at the Louisa County maintenance yards this morning. He was rushed to the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City by ambulance after the 8 o clock incident. Rex Todd, a county employee driving the backing truck, said he did not see Wilson behind the vehicle.

Death of former Washington woman Mrs Sarah Stevenson Helwick Miller
News of the death of former Washington resident Mrs Sarah Stevenson Helwick Miller, born April 14 1885, was received. She died November 28 in a Wheaton Illinois nursing home. Services were held in Illinois. Surviving are daughter Mrs Helen Sorenson Lombard Illinois and granddaughter Lucinda Sorenson Lombard. A son Lloyd preceded her in death last summer.
