John Milton Speer aged 91 died at 7 30 this morning at his home 614 West Monroe street after five years of failing health and loss of sight and hearing. He was born May 1 1856 near Fairfield and married Louise Ortez March 7 1882 at Fairfield. Surviving are his wife and one son Charles Arthur Speer of St Johns Michigan. One son James A died young and ten brothers and a sister are deceased. Arrangements by Sherman’s Funeral Home.
