Truck Driver Killed After Head-On Crash South of Iowa City
A Pennsylvania truck driver, Merwin M. Clark of Lancaster, died after his semi crossed into the opposite lane on U.S. 218 about 13 miles south of Iowa City. Clark was struck by a car driven by Robert E. Liljedahl of Columbus Junction and was run over after being thrown from his cab. Shelby Ellenburg of Postelle Arkansas survived the crash in good condition.
