Snow Flurries Move Through Great Lakes Region
A clash of cold and warm air over the Great Lakes will scatter snow flurries through the Ohio Valley Pennsylvania and New York on Wednesday. A cold mass from Canada will lower temperatures from the upper Mississippi Valley southward while elsewhere temps stay near current readings. Light rain fell on the South Atlantic Coast and far Northwest with over an inch of snow near Lake Superior. The Chicago Weather Bureau warned of colder air into Tennessee tonight with temperatures dropping from Tuesday night’s 15 to 20 degree rise. Northern New England recorded near zero while Ohio Valley and mid Atlantic stayed in the 20s and 30s.

Firefighters Battle 1500 Strong In Malibu Blaze
More than 1,500 firefighters fought a massive Malibu fire in the Santa Monica Mountains. Over 15,000 acres burned, at least nine firefighters injured, and more than 40 homes destroyed in the first 12 hours. Evacuees topped 2,000 as 60 mph winds drove 30 to 40 mile perimeters. Corning Youth Dies in Bridge Crash Near Red Oak
