Choirs rehearse for Sunday night concert

Champion Steer Brings $16 725 at Auction
A 15 year old Iowa farm girl sold Herey a 1115 pound international grand champion steer at auction for 15 cents per pound, totaling 16725 dollars. Robert and Lian Taylor of Las Vegas and Ventura bought the steer, handled by Harry Taft of a Chicago packing firm. The girl plans to pay a mortgage and fund her mother's heart operation with the money.
