Nellie Gilbert of Harper Dies at 84
Mrs. Nellie Gilbert 84 of Harper died Saturday afternoon at her home after ten days illness. Services set for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Powell Funeral Home Keota with Rev. L Duane Churchman presiding. Burial in Keota Cemetery. Born April 2 1877 north of Keota, she married Jake Ligier in 1894 and William Gilbert in 1932. She lived in Keota until 1934 then moved to Harper. Gilbert died in 1950. She was a charter member of the Federated Womens Verle Sigler of Keota, and had one daughter, Anna Thurman, 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
