Mrs John Greiner Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. John Greiner died at 7 30 this morning at the family home on South Ave B after several months of illness. Funeral services will be Thursday at nine at St James Catholic Church Keota with Rev Father O Donnell in charge. Interment will be in Keota Cemetery. She was born September 2 1861 and would have turned sixty three. The Greiner family moved from a farm near Keota to Clear Creek then town residences. Eleven children were born to Mr and Mrs Greiner.

Explosion at grain mill kills two workers in Minneapolis

SCOTT CITY Kansas August 26. The snake crawled into pilot H Happy Wiggins cockpit during a flight nearly a mile high. He grabbed the reptile and pitched it overboard after the snake wounded his hand and arm. He landed at a farm house eight miles away and received first aid.
