Mrs Walter Lindsey of Council Bluffs disclosed that five children were delivered by Caesarean operations. The last, Walter James, was born August 8. The eldest, Betty Jane, was 12 years old on May 10, and Walter James is the only son.

R L Gibson longtime proprietor of a Washington produce firm resigns as manager of the Iowa Poultry Producers Marketing association 194? Other institutions like Eldora Independence Marshalltown Mitchellville Oakdale Rockwell City Toledo and Woodward would cost $325,000 to $330,000 for new boilers to cut coal use by about $41,000 annually.

The New Haven Baptist Church near Washington has run three weeks of threshing crew dinners. Volunteers, led by Mrs. Walter Wolf and Mrs. Glenn Miller, organized meals that drew wide support, raising funds for redecorating the church as the young people work to build a dedicated fund.
