Trucker's Cement Load Damaged in Northbound Collision
One of Clarence Phillips's trucks driven by his son Bill sustained heavy damage in a head-on crash one mile south of Grandview in Louisa county. Phillips' rig carried cement blocks from Washington Concrete to Burlington shell loading plant. Jake's Truck from Moline Inc attempted to pass a wagon, causing the collision. Phillips was uninjured.
