Wallace outlines hog tax and wheat policy in new plan
Wallace announced a nominal hog processing tax not exceeding 50 million dollars to fund the emergency production control program starting Oct 1 1933. Des Moines reports the Iowa NRA board of nine has established a statewide structure to organize communities into county and district committees. Towns will organize via Chambers of commerce or similar groups and appoint delegates to county committees to handle information on the recovery act and complaints of violations. A district administrator will lead each district advisory committee and join the state advisory council. Districts will handle petty employer employee NIRA violations through county complaint committees. Flinn was not injured in the accident but was dead when examined.
