Porter admits embezzlement in Washington County case
Porter, clerk of district court at the Washington County courthouse from 1963 to June 14 of this year, pleaded guilty to four embezzlement charges totaling $22,909 over about six and a half years. Auditors traced the shortages to record alterations and missing court fees, with sentencing set for a future date.
