Mrs W L Browning 42 once linked to hatchet raids on Fort Madison taverns was killed in a crash near Good Hope Illinois. Her husband W L Browning 44 and George Privia roomer at the Browning home also reported dead as their car collided with a Donald Bourde driven vehicle. Crawfordsville Woman Injured In Road Crash
Mrs. George Yeager of Crawfordsville suffered a deep forehead cut and a knee injury when her car was struck by a vehicle driven by Stanton Siegist of Ottumwa on the road south of Olds. The Yeagers and their daughter Vera were en route north. a Fairfield car offered transport to Crawfordsville for medical care. An unusually hard rain may have contributed to the accident. None of the other occupants were injured. The windshield glass caused the facial wound.
