Big Blaze Destroys Greenbaum Whisky Warehouses
A large fire in Lexington Kentucky on August 7 destroyed six bonded whisky warehouses at the Greenbaum distillery in Midway Woodford County. About 47 000 barrels burned as cottages, the Southern railway trestle and two county bridges were damaged.
