Frightened Chicken Thief Flees After Alarm
Mr and Mrs Ed Squire awoke to a quiet chicken yard and realized a thief had entered. Aaron Salley and Sheriff Charles Denison rushed to the scene but the intruder fled before capture. None of the chickens were harmed and the thief apparently left once detected concluding the attempted raid.

Girl Dies While on Way for Visit Here
John S. Wilson learned by tele gram of his niece Ethel Wilson’s death in Hopkins Minnesota. The 17 year old had a heart ailment and died on the way to visit relatives in Washington. Mrs Wilson and family, Wyoming residents and oil firm superintendent, were guests of a married daughter in Minneapolis when the tragedy occurred. The Frank Wilson family moved west about fourteen years ago.
