Hobby Show Closes With Record Crowd And Awards
A crowd of more than 1,000 attended the armory closing night of the hobby show. Winners included A Mellinger Jr and Mellinger III of Kalena with a $25 prize for the hobby collection, Ruth Gideon of Ainsworth with a $15 second prize for salt and pepper shakers, and Charles Morgan of Brighton with a $10 third prize for stamps. Wheat supplies drop to smallest April 1 since 1937

State music contest closes as Washington hosts finals
