Des Moines April 24 Adams Theater Circuit of Des Moines has purchased the lease of the Imprese Theater from Elbert and Getchell. The lease runs thirty three years with ownership of the building by Coffee and Rawson. New management takes over June 1, the theater opened in 1915 and was operated as vaudeville and motion picture house noted for the largest seating capacity in Des Moines. Adams Circuit already runs twenty two Iowa theaters. Consideration not announced. Ice remark follows.

Former Riverside Girl Victim of Bluebeard
Kathryn Wombacher, a former Riverside resident, became the latest victim of the so called Bluebeard. She lived in Riverside before moving to Iowa City and Spokane where she met Walter Andrew alias Richard Huirt. They married in Seattle on November 8 1919. She gave him about $2000 to invest after the marriage. They later reunited in San Francisco and Los Angeles where suspicions led to his arrest by Los Angeles detectives.
