Mrs. Josephine B. Elder widow of Orville writer and longtime Journal staff member died today after months of illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 PM at the Methodist Church with interment in Elm Grove Cemetery. She had wide Washington County ties and contributed to many organizations and church activities. Her son David R. Elder, business manager of The Evening Journal, survives. She was born November 19, 1888.
