Marshall County Sheriff said a woman burned to death in a truck collision near here Wednesday is Mrs. Leon Higgins of Omaha. She was initially identified as Mrs. Ward V. Prewitt, wife of the Omaha bound truck driver, who was injured. The truck owned by Red Ball Transfer Co. caught fire after rear ending a truck driven by Myrl Rutherford of Guthrie Center, ten minutes southwest of here.

Veteran Burlington Trainman Dies at 91
Moses W. Robinson of Burlington, a longtime Burlington railroad veteran, died in a local hospital at age 91.
